dab is built on a simple principle: your habit data belongs to you. here's exactly what we collect, what we don't, and why.

what we collect

dab stores all your habits, completions, moods, and reflections locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. this data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

purchases

dab uses RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and manage your subscription entitlement. RevenueCat receives:

• a randomly generated anonymous identifier (no name or email)
• your purchase receipt from Apple
• device locale and platform (iOS)

RevenueCat does not receive your habit data or any personal information beyond what is needed to validate your purchase. see RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

what we don't collect

• we don't create user accounts
• we don't collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information
• we don't use analytics SDKs or advertising trackers
• we don't sell data to third parties
• we don't track your location

notifications

if you grant notification permission, dab schedules local reminders on your device. these are processed entirely on-device and no data is sent to external servers.

apple services

dab runs on Apple platforms and is subject to Apple's standard data handling for the App Store and StoreKit purchases. see Apple's privacy policy.

children

dab is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children. because we collect no personal data at all, dab is safe for all ages.

changes to this policy

if we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date above and note the changes in the app's release notes.
